    An aging magician is dying. A young filmmaker flies to Vegas to follow him around, intending to create his debut feature film. A few weeks into production, it’s revealed there is another documentary crew also making a film about this dying magician, at the same time, with the same access. This hilarious, meta-referential film is a singular work of nonfiction, filled with surprising twists and turns along the way. Among the thousands of documentaries made every year, this one stands out as something special, unlike anything you have ever seen before.   • Ben Berman began as an editor for TIM & ERIC AWESOME SHOW, GREAT JOB! (Adult Swim) and has directed episodes of LADY DYNAMITE (Netflix), MAN SEEKING WOMAN (FX) and the pilots and series for JON BENJAMIN HAS A VAN (Comedy Central) and COMEDY BANG! BANG! (IFC). Berman wrote and directed the short film I’M A MITZVAH, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2014. His second short film, HOW TO LOSE WEIGHT IN 4 EASY STEPS, premiered at Sundance in 2016 and screened at Cannes. UNTITLED AMAZING JOHNATHAN DOCUMENTARY is Berman's first feature documentary.
